Begin the new year with your youth group enjoying a winter retreat in Colorado. Snow activities including tubing, snowshoeing and the annual broom hockey tournament. Be inspired by the singing and worship as part of the weekend. Hope to have you join us!

2012 Speaker: Caleb Lazaro
Caleb Lázaro was born in Trujillo, Peru and immigrated with his family to the United States at age six. He is currently working alongside grassroots movements in the United States and Peru, advocating for economic justice, non-violence and the restoration of human dignity. Caleb is also a founder and co-pastor of the vibrant community El Centro in Colorado Springs, Colorado––a Christian church deeply involved in advocating for a redefinition of citizenship within the United States. He travels on a regular basis, creatively educating faith communities and activist groups on themes such as social justice, contemplative Christianity, interfaith dialogue and the Anabaptist tradition. Caleb is currently a student in the Benedictine Spiritual Formation Program at Benet Hill Monastery in Colorado.
Retreat Fees

Registration for participants is done with a group registration form. Online registration is not available for Jr. High Snow Camp. Additionally, each youth participant is required to have a signed (by parent or guardian) authorization for medical treatment form to participate. These forms can be found under Documents and Forms on the right.
Send completed registration and non-refundable deposit of $50 per participant (applied towards fee) or entire amount to RMMC at least 2 weeks prior to the camp you are attending.
Please Bring warm winter clothing (snow coat, pants & boots - not tennis shoes), bedding and pillow, towel & bathroom items, your Bible, and spending money for the Trading Post.
Please Do Not Bring or utilize during the retreat: electronic devices (music players, games, tv’s, etc.) fireworks, tobacco, or illegal substances.
Youth & Sponsor Participation is asked for all group sessions, activities and meals during the weekend. Please provide one adult sponsor for every five youth and for each gender. If you have a small group or individual that needs a sponsor, contact the camp for help in connecting with another group as we want to make Snow Camp available to as many Jr. youth as possible.
