Mennonite Quilter's Retreat
Spring Retreat: April 19-22, 2012
Fall Retreat: November 1-4, 2012
2013 Retreat dates: April 18-21 & Oct 31-Nov 3
These retreats are geared towards (but not limited to) members of Mountain States Mennonite Conference churches with a purpose of connecting by faith fellowship and fun through quilting. The weekend will conclude with a Sunday Morning Worship and brunch.
Finally you'll have time to get to that quilting project you haven't had time for. Share stories, ideas, tips, and whatever else you want to talk about while your fingers are busy piecing or sewing. Even if you are not a quilter and still would enjoy attending this retreat for the fellowship or to work on another project (needlepoint, embroidery, cross stitch,etc) please join us! Our leaders for the weekend are Barb Swartzendruber and Mary Yoder.

ARRIVAL / DEPARTURE: You can choose to arrive Thursday afternoon or Friday. You can also choose to come for one day or the entire weekend. The weekend ends after brunch on Sunday but feel free to finish up projects into the afternoon.
COST:
Emmental (Note: bedding and towels provided)
- Shared Room: $30.00/night
- Single room: $35.00/night
Main Camp (Note: please bring own bedding)
- Shared room: $17.50/night
- Single room: $22.50/night
- Single room: $22.50/night
Meals: $8.75/meal
MEALS: We offer brunch on Friday, Saturday & Sunday at 10:30am and supper on Thursday, Friday & Saturday at 5:30pm.
ACCOMMODATIONS: Housing is assigned by camp on a first come first served basis for your preferred housing location. Reservations are limited. The housing location options are Emmental or Main Camp. Emmental has twin beds and linens and towels are provided. For those wishing to stay at main camp, please bring linens and towels. Aspen is our primary housing location at main camp. PREPARE TO COME: RMMC is located in the beautiful Rocky Mountains. To prepare for your retreat with us, please check out our information about things to know before you arrive. Follow the link on the right "Prepare to Come".
THINGS TO BRING: Each participant brings their project items along with all accessories needed to complete it. Irons and ironing boards are provided. We encourage you to share items with other friends attending the retreat so you don't have to bring your entire sewing room with you! Other optional items to bring include: items for show and tell, contribution for door prizes, short (5-10 min) sharing of quilting tips or demonstrations, and snacks to share with everyone - being creative can make you very hungry!
REGISTRATION: A $25 deposit is due at registration. This will confirm your space for the retreat. Deposit is non-refundable for cancellations within 2 months of the retreat date. You can register by calling us, mailing in a registration form from the brochure, or using our online registration. Online registration allows you to save your basic information for ease when registering in following years. You can also pay online with your credit card.
