2013 Retreat dates: March 1-3, 2013

Join us for Men’s Retreat to spend time with God and fellow men in the beauty of creation. Men's Retreat is planned each year by Mountain States Mennonite Conference. The festivities for the weekend include worship times, a musical jam session, foosball, ping pong, chess, and of course the ever popular broomball and human curling.
WEEKEND TOPIC: "From Mourning to Dancing: Men Being Remade"
SPEAKER: Weldon Martens is interim VP for Student Life at Bethel College. He is an ordained minister having served as pastor at Pleasant Valley Mennonite Church in Harper, KS (1984-1995) and Bethesda Mennonite Church in Henderson, NE (1995-2010). His hobbies include hosting "Journeys of Paul" tours in Greece and exploring the extraordinary making of the New Testament. Weldon and his wife Jenny, a Physician Assistant, are parents of two adult daughters. He looks forward to returning to RMMC - the sight of their honeymoon in 1977!
ARRIVAL / DEPARTURE: The retreat begins Friday after supper and concludes Sunday after worship and brunch.
Men’s Retreat participants continue the tradition of tackling necessary projects around camp on Friday before the retreat begins (the Men’s Retreat logo does have a hammer in it!) If you are planning on working all or part of the day on Friday, please contact the camp by phone (719-687-9506) or by email (info@rmmc.org) ahead of time so meals and other details can be planned. THANKS!
