Camp has received many helpful improvements and assistance with programs from our wonderful volunteers!

This summer we have already had two volunteer groups and numerous individuals come to support the work and ministry of RMMC. There are lots of projects large and small that help improve and maintain buildings and grounds at camp.
A big effort this summer included the removal and clearing of trees that fell on trails or places that are difficult to access. Both the Inman cross-country team & Hicksville Mennonite church youth helped to clear various parts of camp.

The Inman group helped with trail maintenance on Old Baldy, installation of new benches around the pond and boys’ side, weeding Bobcat Hill, and removing the tube run bridge for the summer. They got to practice some old school techniques using a two-person saw to cut through downed trees covering the trail!

The Hicksville group & Fridley family helped with cleaning up & adding mulch to the challenge course to make it more accessible and safe. They also helped remove a large tree that fell behind the shop, which is inaccessible by car or tractor.

We were blessed to have some incredible volunteers help share and maintain the camp’s beauty, while enjoying each other’s company along the way.
