PICTURED: Work & Play retreat participants with the list of weekend accomplishments!
We had a wonderful group of volunteers at camp for our memorial work and play retreat! This weekend is an essential part in preparing camp for the summer ahead. We transition our spaces from their winter use to summer activities and reopen cabins that are not used in the winter season. This year we had a good number of extra projects as the dining hall renovations continue. Everything from tables and benches to games and cabinets had to be relocated while renovations took place. As finishing touches are still being made, these items needed to be returned to the Bern room for the Colorado Roots Music Camp starting May 31st.
Please visit the Rocky Mountain FaceBook and Instagram pages for additional posts and photos available on the Rocky Mountain FaceBook Album Page.
Projects accomplished:
- Leveling the umbrella patio for tables and benches
- Installing umbrellas
- Preparing the campground
- Spring cleaning cabins for staff & Campers
- Spring cleaning Rocky Ridge
- Boating equipment relocated to the pond
- Resetting the Bern room with tables, benches, and games
- Equipment organization
A big THANK YOU to our volunteers:
